How soon will I receive my products?

A lot of speed is standard. Usually you will receive your delivery within 48 hours. How soon you receive your delivery depends on the order. Products ordered before 12 am that are in stock are normally shipped the same day. You will receive your delivery one workday later. Orders placed after 12 am are shipped the next workday.

Orders that include software installation or conversions will take one more day. Longer periods are upheld for very large orders. Products that have to be ordered generally take one week to come in. Please consult your account manager if this is the case.

Can you deliver faster?
A lot is possible. Picking up the order here is possible, as is courier delivery. Some shipments can be delivered with our own transport. In most cases express delivery is not free of charge. Please consult your account manager if this is the case.

No, unfortunately you can't.

Can I be invoiced?
Yes, in most cases. We will request companies to pay in advance the first time we do business. Afterwards building a credit relationship is almost always possible. Our usual period is 14 days after invoicing. For schools there is an exception, as long as they have a BRIN-number (in Flanders: a preset number). They can get a 30 day credit. Other (semi) public authorities can get that same status after consulting the account manager.

Used products?
Yeah sure! Why not?
 Xeptor conciously sells used products for two main reasons.

  • It makes standardisation possible for a longer period of time, saving our customers a lot of money and hassle.
  • Furthermore, the price is almost always significantly lower than the original price. This also saves alot of money.

We make sure that the used computers, laptops, monitors, etc. mean a solid investment for you. The products are gradually tested both on the inside and outside. The exterior is spotless in every case. Without hesitation we supply up to five years of warranty from our own technical service department.

Is leasing possible?
Yes, Xeptor offers different lease-options. Leasing can be of use when you have large scale plans that you can afford, just not at once. Together, in consultation, we decide upon the length and exact content of the contract.

What do the productcodes mean? (Example: 2000501W2)
On quotations, order confirmations and invoices you will find the Xeptor productnumber to the left of the description. The first seven digits of this productnumber refer to the model itself. The letter and number following refer to the productstatus.

  • N = new
  • W = renew
  • M = remarketed
  • R = refurbished
  • 1 = original packaging
  • 2 = brand box (replacement box by the producer)
  • 3 = bulkvpackaging (as with memorymodules)
  • 4 = no packaging

W2 means a renew product in a brand box. R4 means a used product without packaging. These products will be packed by our expedition in case of small quantities. In case of larger quantities they will be sealed and put on a pallet. In all cases transportation damage is prevented.

What is renew? remarketed? refurbished?
Renew
means a product has been followed-up and taken out of the stores by the manufacturer. Xeptor is one of the few companies in the Benelux that is allowed to buy these articles afterwards, through the Renew-channel.
For technical reasons an R is added behind the part number. We are not allowed to call these R-status products ‘new’. In essence they are new: Original warranty, original content, books included and so on. At most there is an overpack.

Remarketed
means a product at some point in its life was offered as defective and subsequently, if needed after repair, was recertified by the manufacturer. You still receive factory warranty on M-status products, however it might be shorter than on a new product.

Refurbished
refurbished technically means the same as remarketed, except for us having done the repairs. In practice it usually means ‘used’. In every case the products with this status are tested by our own technical service department on seventeen different points. With R-status products Xeptor supplies warranty itself, up to five years.

Note: all products are tested by us and are approved before being sold.

What does my account manager do?
Your personal account manager is your first direct contact for almost everything. We do not use a call menu, and you never have to wait long, we will just answer the phone. Whether it is a simple question, a problem you want to consult us about or placing an order, your account manager will gladly be of service to you.
Your account manager knows you personally and knows what is going on in both your organization and across markets.

Our people are trained to find out in a pleasant but effective way what solution suits you and your organization best, on both short and long term.
